Deep garnet in colour with an alluring complex aroma of spicy red current and blackberry fruits, underpinned by dried thyme and bay leaf. The palate is very concentrated, fleshy and well structured finishing with the hallmark Remus refinement. From an outstanding vintage, this wine will cellar well for many years to come.
Ruby in colour, alluring spice and savoury aromas, rounded and fleshy in structure finishing with lovely acidity and focus.
Elegance and power combined beautifully ion this wine. Produced from a single vineyard planted in 1905, this Barossa Shiraz is extravagant. Poise, silken, direct and exaggerated flavours. Only 260dozen bottles produced.
Vital, youthful and vigorous. Bright, punchy fruit aromatics of damson plum and mulberry sit above darker dried herb and wood smoke notes. Mid weight palate with lively red berry and tart stone fruit flavours that mesh with nervy, bright fruit acids and light, snappy tannins.
Shiraz was selected from the Lienert Vineyards ‘House Block’ – a site ideally suited to producing Shiraz in the classic Barossa Valley mode; rich in flavour and with firm structure.
The PUMPA is a blend of Eden Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Tempranillo varieties. Named as a
tribute to Len PUMPA and his fellow Eden Valley Vignerons who pioneered and persisted in one of Australia’s
most challenging but rewarding viticultural regions.
Eden Valley had a mix of British and continental European settlers that tried their hand at grape-growing.
When times were tough particularly in the 1920s many turned away from viticulture, however the Prussian
settlers like Len PUMPA persisted in the face of difficulty, preserving the vineyard resources we are
custodians of today.
*** Last bottles *** Priced to sell! An amazing wine we've had the pleasure of tasting and drinking over the last year! ***
Planted in 1941 these deep rooted vines provide Grenache of exceptional quality. Minimal intervention in the vineyard makes for an amazingly charasmatic wine.
A vibrant and plush Barossa Valley Shiraz from the Stansborough Vineyard at Williamstown in the southern Barossa Valley.
This time-honoured blend is our offering to Zephyrus, Greek God of the West Wind, who is often depicted as a horse due to the speed attributed to this majestic animal. The vineyards of the Greater Barossa are regularly buffeted by cooling Westerly winds creating an ideal temperature range in which to slowly ripen.
Meta Shiraz is a great divergance from the traditional full throtle Barossan Shiraz. It's juicy, medium bodied and lighter in pallet weight and very very drinkable!
