Purple Hands Wines
When two good mates get together, one being one of Australia’s most experienced winemaker and the other in possession of an insatiable passion for wine, the inevitable had to happen and Purple Hands Wines came to be in 2006. From humble beginnings and a first vintage of 1,000 bottles, Craig Stansborough and Mark Slade have steered Purple Hands to become a highly regarded and exciting artisan Barossa winemaker.
At the 2019 Barossa Wine Show, Purple Hands Wines were awarded 8 gold medals and 2 trophies, including ‘Most Outstanding Small Winemaker’.
A unique blend of Shiraz, Montepulciano and Aglianico, the Italian word ‘Serata’ roughly translates into coming together and having a pleasant evening with friends.
Sourced from the Zerk Family Vineyard at Lyndoch in the Southern Barossa Valley.
Red with purple hues. Aromas of strawberry, kirsch, earth, with hints of bergamot. Great flesh with textural long tannin.

Circa 1880 PF Zimmerman planted Grenache, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon vines on his family property ‘Woodlands’ situated on the outskirts of Lyndoch.
A medium to full-bodied textured palate with cola and brick dust, hints of whole bunch poking through, this elegant and complex Barossa Shiraz will age gracefully over many years.
These are the remaining bottles of the 2017 release of this fabulous Barossa Valley Cabernet which received a stunning 98 points from James Halliday.
Produced from just 468 Cabernet Sauvignon vines planted circa 1880.
