2017 Sons of Eden Eden Valley Montepulciano (rrp $52)

Currently in first place for ‘Most Delicious Wine of the Year’. A beautiful wash of bright and lively plummy fruits!

2015 Sons of Eden Eden Valley Sagrantino (rrp $52)

The traditional home for Sagrantino is a short distance north of Rome in the Umbria wine region of central Italy. Despite generally being a medium-bodied wine, Sagrantino is deeply coloured and is one of the most tannic grape varieties, with the plumage of salivating tannins making this a great food wine.

2017 Spinifex ‘Adelaide Hills’ Aglianico (rrp $42)

A black grape variety grown mostly in the hot and dry conditions of the more southern regions of Italy. Drawn from vines rooted in the quartz shot clay and granite near Kersbrook in the northern Adelaide Hills, (300 metres above sea level). Aglianico is a late-ripening variety with deep flavours, fresh tannins and high natural acids

2017 Artisans of Barossa Small Batch Barossa Valley Graciano (rrp $38)

Graciano’s traditional home is Rioja and Navarra in Spain where it forms a key component of the Tempranillo based Grand Reserva wines. It’s a relative newcomer to the Barossa Valley, but a hardy variety that revels in the warm and dry conditions. A richly concentrated and rounded mid-palate of dark cherries framed with focused acidity and freshness.

2018 Hobbs of Barossa Ranges Eden Valley Viognier (rrp $36)

The classic white wine variety of the Rhone Valley in France. Sometimes blended with Shiraz, and also used to create opulent full-bodied white wines in the vogue of rich Chardonnays. The high reaches of the Eden Valley are a perfect home for Viognier, allowing it time to ripen fully whilst retaining the bright lively acidity required to balance the richness of the palate.

2018 Grenache Project ‘Schwarz’ Grenache (rrp $42)

Yes, a standard-bearer variety for Barossa grape growing since the 1840s, but made very much in the spirit of innovation and experimentation that lies at the heart of our annual Grenache Project. Lovely crunchy texture supports a mid-weight palate of bright red spicy fruits.
