100% handpoicked and then semi dried on racks in the style of the famous Amarone wines of Italy.
Naturally fermented and then matured for 24 months in new french oak barrels. Predominantly large 1,300L vats and a small component in 500L Puncheons are used.
This wine has beautiful structure and restrained power. Dense, smoky, tobacco-accented black fruit flavors that glide into a long and plush finish.
This wine is a gentle monster. It's complexity and longevity of flavour are simply superb.
