Jason Schwarz's wines taste of the vineyards where the grapes are grown. And he's got a good eye for finding great vineyards...both Jason's father and grandfather were state pruning champions, he grew up among the vines on the family property at Bethany and he's worked along side some of the Barossa's best known grape growers and winemakers. A shed load of experience has taught him that once you find great fruit you look after it with a light touch. "I like to let the fruit speak for itself", Jason says.

Lifted and aromatic with perfume, pretty red fruits, rosemary and earthy tones.
Delicously light Grenache. It's generously aromatic, has a gentle mouth feel and is the perfect Summer red!
A wine that offers a great intensity in colour and a nose of black cherries and dark plum. Meta Mataro is a great expression of juicy tannin and solid stage presence on the back of your palate. Plenty of up front fruit is a welcome balancing act. This is a wine to be enjoyed now!
Meta Shiraz is a great divergance from the traditional full throtle Barossan Shiraz. It's juicy, medium bodied and lighter in pallet weight and very very drinkable!
Planted in 1941 these deep rooted vines provide Grenache of exceptional quality. Minimal intervention in the vineyard makes for an amazingly charasmatic wine.
The Nitschke Bloch Shiraz is from my family's vineyard in Bethany, one of the originally settled villages of the Barossa Valley. Planted in 1968 by my father and mother the vines are still traditionally hand pruned and picked.
Sourced solely from a vineyard in the Hallet Valley sub-region just south of Tanunda, planted and established by the Schiller family 130 years ago and still tended by the Schiller family to this day.
